Beautiful, delicate paper!

One of my favourite materials ever!

 Just had to do a post on some incredible paper artists I found while having a wonder around the old WWW! First is a lady who has found beautiful ways of using that gorgeous paper we all have stashed away but are never sure what to do with. Find her at http://www.helenmusselwhite.com, where you can see beautiful constructions like this:

Paper Shoes by Jennifer Collier.

I've known about this artist for a while and now I have a forum to show off her beautiful work! Find her at http://jennifercollier.co.uk

Delicate modern folk paper cutouts to delight.

I've been slightly obsessed with paper cutouts recently, partly since I came across the work of this lady Elsita Mora. She does all kinds of stuff, I really love her beautiful melancholic little dolls, which you can check out at her blog, http://www.elsita.typepad.com, but here I'm just going to show photos of her folky style cutouts;

New Discovery!

Lovely Oh Comely!

I was lucky enough to stumble across this new magazine - Oh Comely in my local WHSmiths. It was the only copy left, although I don't think they had many to start with. Its beautiful, fresh cover caught my attention and I was impressed by the contents of it's indie style fashions and handmade products. It's aimed at anybody with an interest in creative media on an accessible but not dumbed down level. It has articles on human interest, photography, music, food etc. It wasn't a slick, high fashion girls mag and it wasn't cross stitch for old ladies either! So I've been checking out some of it's highlights, as featured below, from designers and online shops mentioned in the mag;
